I’ve had a fascinating time working on the ads for the new Dead of Summer show premiering this summer on the Freeform network. I keep getting all these horror genre jobs lately!

I was contacted by BusterINK to help come up with some poster concepts. The art director had quite a few ideas in mind, and I pulled together several rough versions. The concepts that were approved were then art directed more and ultimately used to guide the photo shoot on set.

About a month later I got to do the initial mockups with for two of the posters. It was great to see my concepts come alive, as it were. Here are the final versions of the posters.  The tire swing is very true to my original concept (except that there is now a man’s legs in place of a womans), and the the floating bodies from the inner tube concept were from my first pass at the poster.
