SERVENT

On Servent, I took on a variety of tasks. Starting at the top I created cracked glass elements for the shots with the goat smashing into the door. Following that I created the dappled light sinkhole paintings. The rain shot had a season change into autumn. The matte painting of the rainy shot looking down into the sinkhole had to blend seamlessly with the caution tape and cones that were captured on set. In nuke I then added movement to the matte painted caution tape to blend in with the wind blown tape from the plate. For the last shot of the show of the burnt out house, I created initial concept paintings that guided the cg build, level of debris, shape of the opening and amount of soot and damage on the building facade.
