For my painted contribution to this shot, I painted and projected the building to de-age it and make it look like a new structure. I also replaced all the windows with period accurate window frames and accurate dressings. I built the glass reflections directly in nuke for maximum control in reflection placement and look inside the comp.

This shot from the second episode was in need of the same de-aging as the previous shot, but also came with the additional complication of needing a season change in the reflections. To do this, I researched and created a period accurate interior foyer as a projected matte painting and created a summer painting to be reflected on the new glass inside Nuke. Some extra comp love helped maintain the visibility of the footman to match the original plate.

The final shot I painted on involved the same building cleanup, but due to the proximity of the geometry to the camera and the camera move also included some complex projections and compositing coordination. This shot also included a season change, replacing the background trees and driveway into full green trees and a stone drive.
